BlackFemaleProject is meaningful to me because I believe that any professional success I achieve is closely connected to my personal growth and transformation. BlackFemaleProject serves as a mirror for self-reflection, wisdom, and well-being, and it enables me to see myself, celebrate, and support others while we collectively strive towards liberation.
What brought you to BlackFemaleProject?
I first learned about BlackFemaleProject from my friend, Dr. Tameka McGlawn, who is a BlackFemaleProject Advisor. I had a conversation with Tameka about the leadership challenges I was experiencing in my work, and she introduced me to an online community that is specifically designed to empower Black women, providing resources and support for our career journeys. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that BlackFemaleProject offers even more than I had expected.
