November 2022 Wellness Resources

While it seems like second nature to charge our cell phones, water our plants, and feed our families, we're not always so quick to prioritize taking care of our own basic needs. Self-care is radical. When our minds and bodies in balance and our moods elevated, we can see the beauty of the world and the obstacles before us through the same clear eyes, and act accordingly.

Trap Yoga Bae (aka Britteny Floyd-Mayo) dropped some gems on this subject when she stopped by BlackFemaleProject podcast. "We all wanna look good," Britteny reminds us, "but looking good is a byproduct of feeling good, and that starts with the body and the mind."
